New England Blacksmiths is a diverse and welcoming community of blacksmiths. We’re dedicated to teaching and promoting blacksmithing in all its forms. We are run entirely by volunteers which includes many professional smiths.
NEB has a teaching center open two Saturdays a month (except winter) where members can go and forge all day. There are also classes offered throughout each month for blacksmiths of any skill level. You can check our events to see when the teaching center is open and what classes are being offered.
Whether you’re a beginner blacksmith, a professional, or someone thinking about learning blacksmithing, you’ll find something for everyone with New England Blacksmiths.
Donations make it possible to provide education to young and aspiring blacksmiths and to bring in guest educators and new equipment for use at meets and open forged. Thank you for your kind donation.
