Not at all difficult to find, the anvilfire website has been around for decades, and there’s just as much info as you might expect to find; wander around and you can’t help but to learn something.

Blacksmith’s Association of Missouri (BAM)

Here is the library for the Blacksmith’s Association of Missouri (BAM). There’s many books with great information on smithing to be downloaded for free here. Check out COSIRA, Lillico, Googerty, and Schwarzkopf. BAM’s home site is also worth a visit.

California Blacksmith’s Association (CBA)

A treasure trove of basic and intermediate skills can be found here at the California Blacksmith’s Association. Check out the resources tab in particular.

New England blacksmiths

Our own site offers some great resources as well. You can find an archive of past newsletters with tons of awesome articles. We also have a power hammer manual page on the site with various old manuals. Also, be sure to check our events for any upcoming classes, meets, etc.

New England School of Metalwork

The New England School of Metalwork in Auburn, Maine is a wonderful place for learning. They offer various blacksmithing classes throughout the year from beginner classes to advanced and specialized learning.
