Open Forge Day & Butter Knife Class

Any member can come and forge all day for a small material fee of $20. We will also have a class you can participate in where you learn to make a butter knifebutter. The class is optional but it’s a great way to improve those skills! The class itself will run from 9:30am to noon.
We have many forges, plenty of tooling, and all the steel and coal you could ask for. Bring closed-toe shoes, cotton clothing, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
The center is staffed by professional blacksmiths who are excited to answer questions and teach the skills of forging.
